Hi there !
I spent three years in the US when I was young so I am bilingual. Most of all my future carreer implies me to to speak English a lot (computer scientist engineer) and it is useful to answer on 4chan boards.
Actually I like to watch movies or series in English because some pun on words cannot be translated in all languages (for example the "cheese" and the "keys" in The Mask with Jim Carrey,  or Spaceballs). And at least I don't have any problems for trying to search wether a divx is in French or Canadian.

Some of you are talking about English musicality... listen to the Chinese language : you have four ways to say something and it can be completely different (for example "ma" can mean "mother","horse","is it?",or an insult).

Oh what a surprise, an english topic big_smile !
I must say it's a great idea, what better thing for an Irish man like me to speak english with you guys ?

But shouldn't we find a subject? I mean...the topic won't last long if everyone comes here juste to say a few words and then go back to "the corner's Pub".

Anyway, as you know I'm Irish, I come from the Laois (way to pronounce : "liche"), I guess Ced knows where it is situated...and for the others...well, never mind.
